Frameless rear view mirror, cosmetic issue?

My frameless mirror has developed an issue along the bottom edge where it looks like the glass is separating from the reflective material:

Has anyone else noticed this? Anyone try to warranty it?

OEM on the series blue, which is why I was curious about warranty.

Should be covered by base warranty then.

I noticed the frameless mirror on my 2013 FR-S 10 Series was showing this exact issue yesterday. The car was purchased new in the summer of 2014 and has less than 10,500 miles on it - I really can't complain, because the car has been faultless and I've never had a warranty claim yet.

I noticed the delam on mine about a year ago, mine is more on the drivers side and comes up about 1cm higher. It hasn't gotten worse, but if it does replacement mirrors aren't that expensive.

There is a TSB for this. Even if out of warranty my be a chance of getting it done on goodwill if you are really nice to the dealer.

Well, all I know is that I bought a new "frameless" computer monitor a few months back and when I started to peal off what I thought was the protective plastic coating on the monitor ....... it was actually ......a part of the monitor's laminate ....... :bonk:

So, therefore ALL things like THAT should have FRAMES ....... :sigh:
