17x7 +30 offset?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
no one i call on the phone seems to know about offset so im coming to the experts lol. i just bought new tires so i really want to keep them. currently i have stock wheels (17x7 +48 i believe is the offset). XXR makes the 530 in a 17x7 but the offset is +30 or +35. anyone running this or a similar set up? if so how does it look? everyone on here has a wider wheel and it looks sick, but as i said im trying to keep a 7 inch width if possible, but i also dont want my wheels 5 feet behind the fender lol. thanks yall

Read the top posts talking about wheel fitment. ctrl+f "17x7.0 +3" http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=32248 http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=51468 |
17x9" +35 wheels are approx. 79.3mm from backpad to front face of the wheel.
9 * 25.4 = 228.6mm / 2 = 114.3 - 35 = 79.3mm Your 7" +30 wheels would be approx. 58.9mm from backpad to face of wheel, or about 20mm more sunken in vs the wheel I referenced above. -alex |

you and Jawn and people like yall are the reason i use this site!! |
It's going to be 13-18mm more pushed outwards relative to stock. Hardly noticeable, but noticeable. Any reason why you want to stay with a 7 inch width? You could jump to an 8 inch width and it'd look very flush with the fender wall on stock suspension.
