My best advise is to call a dealership and have them look at it if the car is still under warranty. That will be an interesting phone call... "This dead rat/ furball thing came out of my door when I rolled my windows up."

Almost guaranteed to be a guide of some sort. Whether it is important or not is up for debate if your window still works ok. I second the take it in and have it checked route though.

does that thing have teeth?

It's one of the felt stabilizers. These are the things that create the clean vertical lines and are also the things that squeak when wet. You need this. I am guessing it was frozen to the window and ripped out.

Your pics reminded me there's one more felt thingy on the inside. It's near the rear of the window. It could be that one. Also important.

Dude! An ear maybe. An eyebrow for sure. The 'stash is much more majestic then that scraggly thing. @Cole tell him!

If it was trapped in the door, however...
