Body Shop Recommendations
Got backed into while parked yesterday. Story and pictures here: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=99555
Anyone have any body shops in the area that they recommend? Want to make sure it's a shop that will make sure everything is fine, and the paint matches as well. I drive a CBS so not sure how tough it is to match compared to other colors except white which I hear is by far the worst. Thanks |
I work at pan American in mountain view. Great shop no complaints and excellent work. Painter also does great work. Paints always matched perfectly.

I was on the receiving end of a minor hit and run with my last car (2013 Honda Accord Sport - pearl white) in April 2015 and took it to Rainbow Collision Center in Hayward that was recommended by a friend of mine for repairs. Excellent work on the repairs and perfect match on the paints job. The car looks good as new and no signs of being in an accident. I sold the car back in November, and the paints job still hold up after 9 months. |

The Yelp reviews speak for them selves at our location. Guarantee a lifetime warranty as well for any part we touch. |

Oh no harm bro. Didn't take it wrong. I can't speak for the San Jose location.
Rainbow collision is also good. I live on the same block as that shop. |
Surprised to see a body shop rec post as I just had to get my bumper replaced due to some damage to my front bumper.

I have WRB BRZ, they matched the paint perfectly and looks like high quality paint. They also helped me with booking car rental and what not which you can drop off at the shop when you pick up your car (convenient). Price wise, they were competitive and do give discount if you are not going through insurance. Ask for Bill. If not Omar is cool too. Check it out. Best of luck. |

Worked with these guys a few times due to a drunk driver, hit and run, and almost falling off a mountain.
My car feels great. Just like all the other high rated shops they have this machine with lasers (I can't really explain this well because I am not an expert) that allows them to balance/straighten the car. I am sure there of tons of other places that are just as good if not better but I believe they deserve a mention. If you do decide so ask for Blake, he was the most helpful by updating me punctually and was able to replace some of my aftermarket stuff. http://www.yelp.com/biz/b2-perfectio...body-sunnyvale |
Thank you guys. Shops I went to today were not able to take my car due to availability. Time for round two after work tomorrow.

You're in SF but if you can't find a shop you trust there, I used White Oaks Autobody in San Jose. I did a LOT of research, and they were consistently well reviewed, and a friend of mine went there and recommended them personally so I went there. They had almost immediate availability, they didn't give me any grief about aftermarket parts (granted I bought high quality parts), they did a two tone on my sideskirts which turned out great. The end result looks really good, they were really down to earth guys, clean shop - no complaints at all and I would recommend them.

Bump to this. I got severely rear ended yesterday and looking for a shop to fix up my FRS. I am thinking of replacing the stock with TRD Body

I'm in Sonoma County so it may not be any help. Both times my FR-S had to go in I took it to Hansel Collision Center (since they're part of my dealer group and so they all can share my car's history). They've treated me and my baby very well. The guys there love my car and it shows and they went out of their way to make sure I was happy - with Paul (the general manager) even personally hand-delivering my car to me when it took longer than expected so I wouldn't have to inconvenience myself trying to juggle returning a rental and picking my FR-S up in Santa Rosa.

I'm looking for body shop in the Sacramento area if anyone knows of any that they would recommend. I hate seeing my car wounded. I appreciate any help.
