I understand that this kit removes the sound tube and piping @switchlanez

Does it come with parts to plug the hole in the fire wall or do you plug it yourself using the glovebox plug as per the sound tube delete threads?

The plug you're referring to, is in his first picture, it's on the plastic bag on the left on top of the CARB certification sticker. I know because I have a TRD intake on my car, and although power may not be up to par with others it sounds quite good. You don't really remove the tubing completely, you remove the sound tube and resonator portion from the top of the engine and the tube that runs down the back towards the firewall, the plug goes on right before the firewall on whats left on the tube that runs into the cabin

When I installed my TRD intake, actually found it much easier to simply remove the entire tube from the firewall and leave the assembly intact. I then used the cover from the 12V socket in the glovebox to plug the hole through the firewall from the inside. It was much simpler than trying to disconnect that tubing down on the wheelwell by the battery. It's a nice intake, that sounds good and maintains a stock appearance. It also is a factory approved part so no hassles with warranty service.

Everyone said TRD intake sounds nice. Any video/sound clip? Cuz I can't find one on YouTube for the time of my life XD .....or I guess I didn't look hard enough.

Yea removing the sound tube ironically, is was took the longest for me for some reason that, clamp that holds the tube entering the firewall had refused to come off so I had to use super skinny needle nose pliers.

Thanks for the interest and discussion guys. This has been sold.

This intake produces my favorite sound compared to stock, Greddy intake, and the intake currently on my Edelbrock kit. Cleanly amplifies the right harmonics of the glorious NA sound. For those JDM OEM nuts, although this is TRD USA, there are pics floating around of an official BRZ STI tS demo car with this intake rebadged to STi.
