New 2016 WRB BRZ Owner
 

Hi guys,

Just bought my 2016 BRZ Limited yesterday and I am so excited!! I already put on an STi rep lip & random splitters that were supposed to be for my old Evo hahah

A little background about myself :P My dad currently has a 2014 BRZ Limited, so I do have some parts that he took off his car that will be going onto my BRZ :thumbup: I currently still have a 2014 Evo X GSR (which is for sale!! wink wink nudge nudge) that I loved driving. It was mainly a daily but I had showed the car as well. Here are some pics of when the car was in its prime LOL

Soon to be on the list include coilovers, wheels, and exhaust. Not sure what other mods are suggested for this car, so any input is suggested! :thumbup:

The BRZ is quite a downgrade in terms of power. Hopefully, you won't miss it.

My cousin actually owns an Evo X. Are you parting out?

Yeah I know power wise it's a downgrade, but this is actually my second evo haha and after driving around in my dad's BRZ for a bit in the past I felt that this would be a change that would bring something new and exciting haha

I have already started parting out & all that is left is mudflaps and a Blox 490 shift knob in Neo Chrome. The car is already back to stock

Check out the SoCal section. There's plenty of meets, if you're into that: several in the 626 area, one in LA, and one in Chino. Nothing in the 714 area as far as I know.

Any plans to track it, make it a show car, or both?

I do have plans to track! But right now especially since it's fresh off the lot I'm just going to focus on exterior and suspension until then, so I guess you can say it's going to be a daily/show/track car! Ahahah

And awesome! I'll definitely check out some meets to meet other FRS/BRZ owners!

That's cool. I am in the same boat, though I don't intend to do much to the exterior; at least not yet. I am more looking towards performance upgrades in the next year.

Nice man, mines on the path to a track car as well, I daily it. Nice evo too, followed you rn on Insta, my most recent post is another evo x, same color as my brz. I haven't done much yet just interior and lighting, I'd recommend getting the car opti-coated since it's new. It made washing the car waay easy & protects it. A dashcam is nice too. I'm looking into exhaust next as well for 2016. That's my next goal. Welcome to the forums! :)

welcome to the forum, no doubt the Evo is a beast but I guarantee you will be smiling a lot more in the BRZ :thumbup:
