is this in the works? no pun intended. in the market for a FI kit for my auto. would like to see the outcome of this.

We do have a volunteer, but ideally we would like to find someone who is interested in purchasing one of the kits that we would of course heavily discount for them.

Come to Canada its much cheaper for you and the only way I could afford a turbo of any kind

We have a car to use just for the first rounds of testing, but are still looking for a volunteer to use for installing a complete kit (and wanting to purchase the kit)!

why dont you just send the parts to me , and ill install em and buy the kit if its solid.

The most crucial thing needed for an AT kit versus the MT kit is the need to cool the transmission fluid. This is critical. The new owner of your kit is not going to be too understanding when the extra power fries there trans. Even though it's not your fault, they will blame you for not telling them. Just include an efficient bar-and-plate cooler with lines for the trans fluid, but make sure it is plumbed UPSTREAM of the OEM trans heat exchanger so that the fluid gets warmed up properly before it goes back to the trans. After all, what good is your kit going to do, when the car's in the garage getting the trans replaced.

The auto trans has shown to hold torque up to 300whp pretty reliably, I doubt that their carb tune is going exceed that...

MTs need a clutch long before an auto needs a cooler.

An NA can overheat the trans, at 160 hp. What do you think 300 hp will do? Unfortunately an OFT can't display trans fluid temps, so it could happen without notice. By the time the CEL shows it's already too late. The plastics in the trans are already cooked. Bottom line, if an engine oil cooler is needed, a trans fluid cooler should be needed as well.

sure if you're tracking it or running it hard for long periods, definitely get a cooler. But just having more power doesn't mean you immediately need a cooler.
