I used to ship bumpers/body kits all across the USA and I can tell you that it's never easy. Usual cost was $150-$230 including custom packaging (materials included). If you can have it shipped for any less than that, I'd say jump on it.

That's what I thought. The guy I'm buying a bumper from is telling me he's being quoted 520... 😈😠😒

Most cost effective way is greyhound. If you have a greyhound station near you and same for the seller it will probably be under $100 to ship it. Catch is they have to drop it off and you would have to pick it up. Other then that as far as I know Fedex and UPS will charge based on dimensions ("Dimensional weight"). So the smaller the box for the bumper the better. If you leave 2" of space in the box on both sides the price of shipping could go up 20-40 bucks. I have a Replica Mugen Kevlar rear lip for my old RSX which I haven't been able to sell because everyone wants it for less then shipping alone costs. Quotes from Fedex and UPS are around $150-250 like stated I can't remember exactly what.

Try Shipnex.

I shipped 6 wheels with tires for $120, everywhere else quoted about $200.

They get wholesale prices from UPS/Fedex for large packages.. shipnex provides the UPS/Fedex sticker and you just drop it off to them. You just have to be sure you don't underestimate your weight or package size because they will upcharge you for it.
