Be careful if buying because 2013 are different from 2014,15,16 they are a different part number because of geometry changes in the valve train.

I would like to add that the change was in the middle of 2013 so you motor could have either set depending on early or late production. was it the rockers too? I'm going to have to go back and look at my notes

Production year 2013? Because the 2013 models were sold May2012 to May2013 in May/June 2013 the 2014 models hit the dealerships.

Dude I found this out back in June when I had new valves in my head and they were too short. So we grabbed the old ones and found the difference between the new and used was .100 . Then we started calling all the valve companies and everyone thought we had lost our mind and never heard of it. So we took them to Super Flo in San Jose they were like damn we will get on this. After the drive back we went out back and started tearing down FA20 My build was out of a 2014 car bought in 2013 so we grabbed a 13 and they were wrong and we were like what the hell. So after calling Subaru they said it was a mid year change. This change was not very well planned because half the Subaru or Toyota people know nothing of it.

that's the deal

so after June 13 they require the longer valve Its been a long day my dumbass just figured out what your saying. smh which is a model yr 14 sorry Elvis has left the building.

Best price so far I've found is direct from Japan $435 ozzy .

Mine is a early 14 so I reckon would have the longer valve stems from the above info.

If I remember correctly the prices are the same

part number for 2014

Part Number: 13249AA250

Not when we have to add 40% to the US $ for the exchange rate so that makes it about 587 ozzy $ so you guys in the usa would find it way cheaper buying from Japan as I worked it out quickly to be about 270 usd for a set .
