Press the key fob a second time. My 2016 does exactly this then I press the button a second time. Lights off

Came here to say this ^

Do you press the button twice or only once? My 2015 takes a double click of the lock button to shut off the lights.

Wondering if all these things are just firmware differences across diff years.

My 2014 is the same, headlights stay on forever it seems like if I don't hit it twice.

Kind of akward when you pull up to someone's house and the bright HId are shining through their windows :D

Kinda what I figured. I always have friends reminding me that I left my lights on though. And I've had valets manually turn off the lights, and then my dumb ass drives around for 5 minutes at night with no headlights before realizing theyre off.

'16 model with auto lights. Turns off after about 30 seconds, or I can press the lock key twice and it turns off right away.

alright guys. I think i solved the mystery. I noticed that the window isn't auto moving up and down when i'm opening and closing the door...thus the car thinks the door is always closed. That would explain the lack of beeps when i turn off the car or when i have headlights on when the door is open while the engine is off. I'll play around thing and stuff when i get out there tomorrow.

Check if the door plunger is stuck.
