ok, now that thats over... Always engine/transmission brake. Downshift to slow down until 2nd. Then you can neutral brake until 0 kph/mph. Of course, dont just let your car brake by itself, also apply brakes. Why? That's what todays manual car are designed to do. Plus, its the safe thing to do. |

Attachment 127204 It needs to become second nature in racecar, imagine trying to slow down at high speed by using only your brakes. You will also keep your brakes in good condition in case you ever really need to use them. All you'll do by using your gears is burn a bit more fuel. |

If I'm stoping I go into neutral and just stop. If I'm driving most times I just down shift. My wife likes to roll thru the gears at a stop. When driving she's goes to neautral and downshifts
