I think it's safe to say that most people drive more during the day, putting most of their miles on the car when the DRL's are already ON. If there was an issue with the life of the DRL LED's on the Winjets, I'd think we'd have heard people complaining about it by now. The Winjets have been out for a couple years now.

I have Winjets on my car with the DRL mod and love them! I've gotten so many compliments on the look. Highly recommend!

Thanks for the chime in btw. I was thinking about that too, and yes, we do most of our driving in the day (unless you're Takumi Fujiwara of course) so the night usage of the DRL LEDs will be negligible in comparison. Cheers!

Yup, mine has the Morimoto 5500k HID bulbs / ballasts + DRL mod. The HID bulbs match really close to the LED strips.

One thing that I thought was crazy after installing, is how low the headlights come adjusted from winjet. I had to raise them _a lot_ .... they were pointing at the ground. I still don't have them quite high enough. Make sure you use a 8mm socket on a socket wrench to adjust, trying to use a screw driver will just take years...
