Turn Signal and breaks

So first my car is a daily driver, Haven't had any issues w/ it since I picked it up in Sept of 2012. The car lives in the PNW, so its cold and it rains A LOT. I left for vacation for a week parked in my gfs driveway, W/o any issues. I get back yesterday to move my car and take it back home and I noticed that when ever I hit the breaks, my passenger side turn signal would turn on. It starts faded, but the longer i hold the breaks down, the more it fills with color. It doesn't activate the actual blinker feature. I flip the blinker and it blinks and goes to the faded color and then when i let go of the break, it blinks and then goes off. Any idea what would cause this?

What do you see happening at the left taillight? My first guess is something shorted back there.

I'll have to look at the wiring diagram tomorrow.

Check under the hood for rodent damage. A week away in the PNW as the cold weather sets in means the little buggers can wreak havoc. The wrong wires chewed near the relay/fuse box could lead to some weird results.
