No mods to my lighting as of yet... still have the OEM HID in my BRZ.

OEM bulbs like Philips, Osrams will "color-shift" to a more brighter white at or around 200 hours of run time on the bulbs. So a 4300K bulb will end up being around 4700K - 5000K.

I am not 100% sure if aftermarket bulbs like the Morimotos will do the same, I believe they don't color-shift.

Morimotos do color shift.
I currently have a set they shifted around 60 hours.

This is normal. The increased ballast power (35w to 50w) will cause the bulb to look more yellowish.

Edit: My bad didnt read all the comments already...:slap:

I have 55w 6k HID's they are not yellow at all.

I'm not saying your light is going to be fog light yellow. But your 6k bulbs will look more blue if they were ran on 35w rather than the 55w.

Ah I see, what brand are they? Also I have already emailed the store I got the lights from and they are replacing the bulbs for free.
