Glendale/Eagle Rock owners be on Alert

Caught some kid and 2 of his friends around my car last night with my rear driver side wheel off and my passenger side wheel bolts loose, i confronted him about it and he said someone had jacked his springs so he was "just checking mine" to see if they were his which is utter bullshit, made him put my wheel back on and torque the nuts, wrench tested it myself to make sure he torqued them and not just half assed shit.

Longstory short watch your rides this guy is out for tires/wheels.
description of the kid 5'4 Filipino 125lb 18-25 owns a Black FRS no front plate, CA Rear Plate partial 6NR4 (don't quote me on the plate this happened at 1:40 am i wasn't thinkin right)
His friend that had my wheel 5'7 150ish Filipino took off in a white Lexus don't know the model but it was definitely '10+
3rd guy buzz cut 5'3

Some people have no shame and some serious balls. Hats off to you in being able to keep that confrontation civil, I'm pretty sure I'd fail that test miserably.

Interesting first post as well... was your car up on jack stands or what?

KR-S 12-07-2015 05:22 PM

You'd best make sure that kid didn't attempt to steal anything else from that car. Fucking scumbags.

You should probably post in the Socal Spotted thread too; still on topic and serves as a warning.

But, at the same time, interesting first post as well.

good job on not breaking his neck. i wouldnt have been able to stay calm lol. but i also wouldnt make him put the wheel back on either. if the threads got cross threaded i'd probably completely lose my mind lol

LowRen 12-07-2015 06:31 PM

My car was parked on the street, they had an emergency jack on my rear driver side.
Nothing was stolen, and now that i think about it the cross thread thing is bugging me now, either way i'll find out at the dealer my service is due anyway.

I was never much of a forum guy, i probably have like 300 combined posts on both my Zilvia and Honda Tech account over 6 years.

Believe me i could've handled this worse but i didn't want that kind of karma especially since idk what i did to deserve these guys messing with my ride in the first place.

Just hoping this puts people on alert since it is the holiday season and people are shady as hell.

a fellow FRS owner stealing wheels... that's something you see in the civic crowd and didn't expect it with our community. at least we got a partial plate and a description. kudos to you and how you dealt with the situation, I would have handled it way differently.

And if you did, you would have been successfully sued by the would-be thief.

Because America.

I'll be sure not to cross your path.

Wow that's crazy, I'm not sure what I would do in that situation like actually caught in the act. Well maybe the next person he tries that with won't be so nice about it. Dirtbags.

Duly noted. Please don't try to do the same, even though they are horribly stock. I still need them to move the car. :)

I would have just called 911 from a distance.

No lesson learned = he will do it again.
