Jacking points
 

I've had very little time to spend with the car since I bought it. I had it on a lift briefly before buying just to check around for stuff. I didn't think to look for a jacking point in the center so I can lift one whole side at a time. Sometimes lifting one end at a time to set jack stands isn't really necessary. Is there a jacking point that will accomplish this?

There seem to be two commonly used lift points for floor jacks (you will want a low-profile jack):
Front: the crossbeam support between the front-most skid plate and the rear skid plate.
Rear: the rear differential.

Place your jackstands on the designated pinchwelds on either side of the car as appropriate (see the manual for pictures).

The only potential issue is splitting one of the rear differential seals - just keep your eye on the diff for leaks. I've never had an issue but I'm always sure to place the jack squarely under the rear diff and monitor its placement as I begin lifting the car.

FWIW, I always use a thick piece of cardboard (cut from a quality box) to help prevent my jack or stands from scratching paint and potentially causing a rust issue in the future.

Edit: I just realized you are likely talking about lifting the left or right side, not the front or back. In that case, no, I don't believe there is a suitable place to lift the car AND get both jack stands under the lifted side. You can always just use one of the pinchwelds as a lifting point, but you aren't going to be able to safely get under the vehicle as there won't be a place for a jackstand.

Put the jack on the pinch weld just a little behind the side mirrors to lift both wheels at once. Works every time I'm switching tires front to back.
