Frontpipe Question

I am looking at the many options for a catted frontpipe to pair up with the rest of my exhaust setup. I currently have the Gruppe-S UEL, Invidia Overpipe and Perrin 2.5" Resonated CBE. Does it matter what catted frontpipe that I pair up with the overpipe or should I find an overpipe/frontpipe combo from the same manufacturer? Will there be any fitment issues if I mix manufacturers from the overpipe and frontpipe.

I am not sure if I want to snag an Invidia catted frontpipe or sell my Invidia overpipe and get a overpipe/frontpipe combo from Perrin or Motiv. Thoughts? Anyone with experience with the Perrin CBE and a overpipe/frontpipe combo?

Does not matter, they are made to fit with stock components, so they should all fit fine.

That's good to know. Now to decide on getting a catted frontpipe from Berk, Perrin, Motiv or Invidia. All are great options so I guess it will come down to the price.

Perrin will have to be used since they don't make them any more just an FYI

JDL auto design should also be an option. Quality pieces

If it were me, I'd go with a catted, just to keep the exhaust quieter. When having the header, front pipe, and catback, it will get pretty loud if it has no cats! I had our 3" resonated with stock header and catted front pipe and it sounded really good.

I can second this. I am catless and even with a TRD cat back I still rattle the pictures on the wall in my house when I fire it up (cold start).... best part is I park on the street hahahaha!! everyone on the block hates me now.

I can only imagine how loud I'd be if I wasn't catted

Pretty sure you will go deaf from this setup

No but I can say with the supercharger my JDL header and full 3" Perrin FP+CBE it is loud as hell (As in wake up people by driving on their street). cattless I wouldn't even make it 1km before being pulled over for noise.

Haha yeah for sure! I remember we started our FRS with a catless header, catless front pipe, and our 2.5" unresonated and it sounded like it had no exhaust at all!

Catted is definitely the way that I am going. I am currently looking at the Berk catted front pipe unless I can find a used one for sale for a better price.

I have the Invidia over pipe already so the Perrin would be pointless to buy instead.
