Shooting Happened Literally >1 Mile From My House
 

This shooting happened literally a bit over a mile down the street from my house..
I have finals coming up this next week (two finals this Saturday) & I have spent the last 6 hours just watching the news & following this on my laptop instead of studying.
I honestly don't even know how I'm gonna get back home because pretty much every street around my neighborhood is closed because of the close proximity to the site of the initial shooting is.

It really hits you hard when something like this happens literally right where your home is. It's different when you hear of it happening somewhere else; but when it's literally a mile away from you, it really gets you to realize how bad all of these mass shootings are.

I'm sure your school will figure something out in regards to finals, but I am glad to hear you are safe, and I hope your family and friends stay safe too!
