No clue what that is. I'll assume it's a suspension mod?

Possibly the Tein Type Flex coilover? Are they even out for the Zx6?

No idea. The OP expects us to know what they are already.

That is actually the Tein Flex coilover system.

Super popular do to the hight build quality, large number of adjustments, and ease of use. We have sold several sets already, and Ive had a chance to drive one of our customers BRZ with this system and simply could not believe how drastic the change was to the cars handling.

Here is a picture of the vehicle with them installed.

I'd be interested if you could elaborate a little more on the difference in handling feel between the Tein Flexes vs stock.

:)

Depends on a lot of factors. The Flex does have valving and spring rates that are much better for spirited driving. The amount of adjustment available in the Teins is great, too.

Agree 100%. For some, the stock suspension is great, and generally that would be for people who want to retain the stock comfort and ride height and are happy with the way the car handles out of the box. Now someone who would buy the Tein Flex would want much more adjustability, as the Flex will give you independent ride height adjustment, springs pre-load adjustment, damper adjustment(how stiff the strut is), and solid upper mounts for a very precise and direct steering feel. Overall the Flex's would be ideal for someone who is looking for a big bump in suspension performance, and is willing to sacrifice some comfort to get there. :)

Hope that helps.
Thanks,
Rick

 That setup is on an entirely separate level than their consumer products.

Check out the price; well over half the cost of a BRZ :confused0068: http://www.stohl-racing.com/shop/cat...roducts_id=116

i think his point is that people always going around saying tein sucks. then he shows them it doesnt. then people say oh well thats not what im talking aobut. just because they offer lower end stuff doesnt mean they suck. you can buy decent tein products if you want

I was deciding between Mono-flexes and the RSR iSports. I went with the RSRs simply because I liked their spring rates better for daily driving. I'm looking into the mono-flexes in a few years though since they'll be able to provide me with the in-car control, high build quality, and great ride quality. Tein makes good products, they wouldn't be this big if they made junk.

Tein sucks.... you need a contract to buy that set and they have the right to refuse sale. (oh wait, they dont even make them anymore) Thank you, please come again.
