question about tires

This may be a n00b question but if I was to get upgraded tires (18 or 19 inch) what happens to the old tires? Could I potentially keep them for another car?

Yes, but the bolt pattern would have to match. And there aren't too many cars that have 5x100 bolt pattern.

Ah got it, thanks for letting me know. My other car is a Scion XB, well my husband's that is. I'll do some research to find out if it's the same or not.
