American friends, school us Aussies on Forgestar Wheels

In order to get the wheel specs I want, I'm going to have to go custom.

I found these which I reckon look good, are reported to be about 8kg in my desired size and can be made in the spec I desire.

What I'd like to know is what kind of reputation does the product have where it is made?

Thanks in advance.

The G8 (Holden Commodore) community loves Forgestar. The quality is excellent from what I've been told. I've never owned them myself but a lot of the G8 guys love the F14s.

I have a set on my Saab

Depending on Roads they will bend for sure as they are great wheels but a bit soft from my experience

I've researched them on google (I liked one of their models posted on whiteout fr-s here) and one of the first thing that came out was a topic on Porsche forum and one person had a hard time balancing them with tires to avoid vibrations. He couldn't get vibrations to go I think and was determined it was the wheel. Given this, maybe its one bad drop drop in the sea of good experiences, but I have not made up my mind, so I'd be curious about the feedback from hands on users as well.

Weird... I've got 2 friends that are running these wheels with no issues. And yes, Vivid does sell these wheels. I haven't heard anything bad about them from customers or staff since I've been here.

Any idea if Forgestar took care of that Porsche customer? I'd imagine they would, based on the customer service we've had from them.

Maybe an exceptional case, but still disappointing reading all that.

I stopped even contacting them I always figured it was just a fluke and its always been that way so i didnt even bother

I've had mostly good experiences with Forgestars, although I had some unresolved issues with the iForged wheels I ran.
