I think that it might have something to do with the type of tips that you have. The original OEM ones weren't as noticeable to me as the tips that I replaced them with. Mine are DC Sports EX-1013's and the flat surface area tends to make it more noticeable. They look great when clean, but, I feel like I need to clean them when I do the rest of the car.

If those pipes are clean then you know for a fact the rest of the car is meticulously maintained. Every other weekend when I wash my car, I wipe them down and obviously the rest of the car is showroom condition. I even pop the hood and wipe under there down once in a while. I have a busy life too but I take the 30 seconds extra worth of time to wipe those pipes to make the car perfect since I only wash the car every other week. |
:iono: at least your "tips" didnt get creampied:cry:

Just to put it in context, when I say "Opposite Quadrant of the Universe" I mean "I washed a car once, but don't remember when".:iono: If its clean, its because I just finished restoring it from a pile of scrap and its had its first and last bath. Don't ask me how the two extremes co-exist cause I cant explain it either.:bonk: |

Maybe for the tailpipe, but dish-soap is bad for car exterior. |

Do you recommend washing the engine with a high pressure nozzle? Has anyone had any problems doing that?
