Does this sound deal sound decent ?

I've canceled the deal.

No idea on how Aussie dosh works there.

But can I ask why you're trading your car for one that's only a year younger... with more kilometers?

I won't ask why you want to trade the manual for an auto since everyone has their own personal reasons and plus I've seen this forum when it comes to the battle of the trannies.

I just got back from my local dealership. I wanted to trade in my 2013 GTS manual for an Auto.

The dealerships car has 46k and my car has 11k.

The dealerships car is 2014 and mine is 2013

My car also had scrapes around the body and the dealerships car is perfect.

They asking for an extra $5000AUD on top. I told them I need to think about it. So here I am asking the gt86 community.

Can you provide us with your pictures of your car?

I was just wondering because my car seems worthless online compare to the other gt86... This is my first car that cost over $10k so I'm not really good in valuing my car.

:slap:<- me getting slapped

They let stuff like that in here? Must be late night posts that get deleted by the morning.

In that case, I wouldn't do it. Whatever money that you could use on top of this trade can instead be used to fix those scratches around the car. Not only that, you also don't know how that other car has been treated. Actually, could you clarify if the car had 46k kms or was 46k in price?

Either way, it sounds like a rip off.

Yep pass on it. Spend that 5000 to fix up yours and any other mod you want.

Ok. I've labeled the damages in red

Impureclient 11-20-2015 09:28 PM

Less miles > newer car
Also if you did all that damage to your car in only 11k miles and if you bought the newer car it will probably end up the same.

KR-S 11-20-2015 09:29 PM

Sorry man, it's totaled.

Jokes aside, $5000 AUD or about $3650 in USD is FAR more than plenty to fix those petty scratches and new tires. Tell the dealer to pound sand.

awhatzable 11-20-2015 09:29 PM

Would people still pay good money online for car with this much damage outside ? Every other gt86 I see on carsales seem to be in top condition.

As I said before, everyone has their reasons for wanting to go auto. But there's far too much to lose for the exact same car with an auto in this case.
