rattling inside engine bay near firewall driver side
 

Wondering if anyone else has had a rattling noise inside the engine bay on the driver's side near the firewall. This only occurs over speeds of 65mph.

When I first looked in the area there were 2 wires that go down along the engine bay using plastic hooks that had quiet a bit of slack so i tied them together to reduce the slack but the rattling continued.

Anyone else have this occur? or any ideas what I could check?

I had this noise.. for me it was a factory defect in the form of a loose radiator. With the car stopped i could never tell but while driving it would rattle like mad. Once the dealership ran some tests & found the source, they tightened it down and i haven't had a problem since.. it could be worth a shot to check it. For what it is worth when i was in the car it sounded like it was coming from the firewall as well.

Okay. thanks for the heads up. I will see if i can get in their and see if it's loose.
