Crystal White Pearl Paint Mismatch

Hey Guys,
The day after I took delivery of my Crystal White Pearl Series.Blue, I noticed the front and rear bumper colors do not match the color of the rest of the car unless viewed at certain angles in afternoon light. I've been going back to the dealership asking them about getting it paint matched as it bothers me in having this problem with a brand new car. Is this a common problem or am I one of a few? The only other Series.Blue I've seen has the same issue. Subaru still has not gotten back to me after several visits and several months.

Dude this happens on ALL cars. Your bumpers are plastic and the rest of the car is metal. That is why, but they were both painted with the same paint.

Exactly what above said.

Spend more time in the drivers seat, it's meant to be driven.

Enjoy!

she get's plenty of driver time, doing HPDE this weekend with her. Just to say, my white pearl audi didn't have this problem, so it's not all cars.

The pearl white on the front and rear bumpers of my 2013 Whiteout match perfectly with the rest of the body..

WRB here and my bumpers are an off color from the rest of the body at a certain angle/light. Not that noticeable, but I noticed it while I was detailing lol

That's the same conditions I noticed mine in. My bumpers are more tan than white. I'm thinking it may only be a problem for the 2015 model year but wanted some input from other years as all the 15's I've seen seem to be the same and previous years match.

Well, my 2013 "whiteout" looks the same all over the car, in any light.

However, I had a "copper red" colored Miata, that the front and back bumpers had a different hue to them under certain light conditions.

I'd suggest any attempt to "correct" the situation, would be expensive and less than satisfactory.

humfrz would just do less detailed detailing .......

My CWP looks uniform, but then I don't wash or polish it myself so never really looked all that close. Nothing ever seemed off to me though between the bumpers and main body of the car. Might need to see a pic of yours in profile under bright sunlight?

I'll try to remember to grab some photos this weekend

I'm OCD, so I can see the color differences on every single car. It's especially bad on a sapphire Scion iA.

I read somewhere that bumpers, and all plastics for that, are painted at different plants then the main body, that's why paint never matches up completely.
I'd have to say out of all the cars I've owned, I've never noticed it though
