Just got confirmation today.

My Hot Lava AT will be delivered on July 9th.

I'm very excited about being able to have fun driving again.

Thats awesome...Im still waiting to here back on mine. Ordered it a month ago but still no confirmation. Can't wait to get my hands on it also. :happyanim:

Me too! Mine should be here July 2nd! Are you on the east coast? I would expect others on the east coast to be getting calls as well (my car came into the port of Newark, NJ).

congrats man!!! I got my VIN# today and they said it should arrive in two weeks!

That's good to hear, my car is also at port in NJ. I am hoping maybe it gets here by the end of the week but it doesn't sound like anyone really knows when they will get released.

Congrats! I got my VIN on May 12th...still no car.

are you yalls dealer automatically updating you with vin and any updates, or do you have to call and bug them?

I had to contact my dealership to get updates.

My sales guy has been updating me 1-2 times a week and anytime the status changes in the system.

And I've been bugging my sales guy a lot, though he's been very informative and helpful.

Kinda funny that I initially talked to three scion dealerships around town asking to be informed as soon as their first FR-S's came in so I could test drive them and place an order (or buy the one that came in) immediately, and only one responded.

That first test drive completely sold me on the car. So much of what I remember of my 2002 MR2 was there. The very responsive steering, the feeling that I was part of the car and road instead of a floating couch.

I ordered the Hot Lava because I'm tired of greyscale cars, and especially black.. you REALLY don't want to own a black car in NC. It 1) will be very hot, and 2) will end up green for a chunk of the year, no matter how often you wash it.

Well, my delivery date was moved...

I picked up my car this morning, having a lot of fun already.
Though I have noticed two problems:

1) Heavy rain (large droplets) are LOUD. I think the reverberate the entire trunk when they hit.

2) The usb support on the stock radio (non-bespoke) is.. lacking to say the least. chooses directorys/songs in written to disk order, not alphabetical or anything useful.
