Factory HU with RCA?
 

Heya, I can't find the answer in Audio Directory.

But does the 2016 model HU have RCA? Gonna install sub and not sure If I need to purchase the LC2i or not.

It looks like the answer is "No". I had this question as well, but I was hoping for Front + Rears + Subs. Here's what I found:

I think that's consistent with the previous base unit too. I'm not optimistic the connectors circled in that thread have pre-amp outs.

If you're installing a sub & amp in the trunk, you might consider using the OEM amp wiring which has the front speaker wires going to it and either tap into them, or make your own connector e.g.:

just run a hi/lo converter to get rca outputs.

Confirmed, no RCAs. I pulled my head unit (2016 FR-S, non-bespoke) today and confirmed there are no RCAs on the back. You could replace the HU or get converters.
Sorry for the thread resurrect, but I wanted to follow up with direct verification.
