Gotta love it RETRO - Rota RKR 18x9.5 ET44 255/35/18

Hey guys,

Thought i'd share the way my car looks since i got my wheels installed today!

It's a squared setup of 18x9.5 ET44 Rota RKR's wrapped in 255/35/18 Hankook Ventus V12's.

Enough talk, here are some pictures:

Way too big to be retro, and don't quite look right in anything bigger than 16's

Everyone's entitled to have his own opinion :)
I like it, that's all that counts for me... Thanks for sharing though.

I agree, great looking wheel, but being so big its like one of those 69 Camaros with 20" wheels. They would look awesome in a 16" setup, real low.

As long as you like it though!

I like it, I think the style is unique and suits your car well.

We don't have that many 69 Camaros here in Belgium so i have no idea what you're refering to lol :iono::bonk:

I agree these wheels' charm is the smaller sizes like on AE86's and miata's, but for the GT86, which is my daily, i liked and wanted an 18inch wheel :)

Oh well, thanks for your input though!

And no worries, i more then like it, i love it :D

Thank you!!! Your words are very much appreciated, i wanted something different then the obvious, for example Rota Grids here are used on waaay to many cars, this is more unique that way :D

Thought about getting these as well. What are you lowered on?

Oups, seems i forgot to mention that!
It's lowered around 35mm on Bilstein B14 coilovers :)

I like the style... just on older cars.

That's the exact reason why i put them on mine, i like older/retro touches on newer cars, so these wheels were perfect for what i was looking for lol :D

Yes, nothing says "RETRO" like 9.5" width wheels on 255s.

Point taken, although i think it's pretty clear i'm talking about the design of the wheels, not the size :)
But hey, to each his own right?
