I suppose the OP could argue that the headlights are different...

With FRS headlights, it would look different. Also would like to know how the person wired up their signals.

Plugged them in. They are not different wiring harnesses.

Please rephrase this sentence. I need clarification. "They are not different wiring harnesses" BRZ has headlight signals, frs has them below.

Beyond the original scope of the question.

All the wiring for each type is already included in the harness. This is not an uncommon thing when cars with different versions are made since it is cheaper to just throw the same thing in each and just use what is needed then having to have different parts and line interruptions to change them over. There are many threads on here of guys asking "what is this unused clip for" and the answer is always something on the other version of the car. A swap like this should be pretty much plug and play but you may have to dig around a little to find the wires.

There is a thread with an FRS bumper on a BRZ....

Members journals and its bluebaru if I remember correctly. Guy in a foreign country bought a brz that was wrecked and restored it / turbo'd it. Pretty neat build thread.

BRZ bumper on FRS. Does the Toyo badge fit on the BRZ bumper? Hmmmm...

Summerwolf 11-09-2015 11:22 AM

Judging by that thread I referenced they seem to be the same size? I have seen Toyota badging on a brz before as well.... YMMV

whats a FRS with a BRZ bumper look like?

drew_kar 11-09-2015 11:59 PM

I'm just waiting for someone to put a BRZ bumper on a hot lava FRS. I LOVED my old hot lava FRS and love the front end of the BRZ. Hmmm, maybe if I had the car longer I would have swapped front ends...
