Trunk wont open

Did a search and came up blank.

2015 BRZ

I sound proofed the trunk this weekend. Basically matted the spare tire area. Put everything back together and now I can get the trunk to open. Not from the exterior button, the interior button, or the remote.

Is there a way to get into trunk from the back seat so I can inspect? I would hate to get charged for taking the car to Subaru on something I did that was so benign.

Thanks for your help.

Open the trunk manually with the key, inside on the left should be a button. Click that and it should work.
