Has anyone have eny experience with these? Haven't seen them on the forum much..

They look good I'm just wondering if anyone knows how much they stick out, how they go on, their experience with them, etc.

First time I've seen them as well. Personally I'd like to see a piece that goes all the way up to the crease in the fender to hide the front sidemarkers, but thats just me.

Never seen them before either but from the pics they probably just attach through the exiting fasteners in the wheel well and body tape on the outside. Probably be a breeze to install.

@supra2nv has these. He has a full TRD spec 86 even the $10k big brake kit. Maybe he can chime in.

I literally saw a car with these on Instagram the other day and just spent a good amount of time looking for it again lol. It looked alright. Reminded me of the Civic Type R fenders extensions seen on 8th gen civics.

I have seen these too. They look really nice, but that price is something I can't justify for tiny pieces of plastic.

They are nice. They don't come out much, only enough if your wheel poke out a bit & makes your wheel gap a bit smaller.
Fitting is prefect & secured with factory clips. (TRD parts so that's a given) ps: You have to drill hole for rear bumper.

On minkara ppl who got it rave about it, if your car already has a body kit this along is gonna make your car look just low enough.

Here is a link http://minkara.carview.co.jp/en/user...6319/note.aspx if you wanna see installation & photos.

you sure about the wheel gap? it looks like they overlap the side of the fender but don't extend below the wheel arch much.

O.O You are right I looked around abit, it's only about 1-2cm so 0.5 inch. :bonk: Got misleaded by some of the review titles.

Here is the site from TRD Japan. It helps deflect some of the wind away from the wheel well areas.

LOL I just noticed on the site it says
Quote:

<Caution>
Do not use as vehicle inspection countermeasure for tire protrusion.
Width will increase 14mm maximum.
Yet that's what everybody use it for in japan. lol

socal_48 11-02-2015 07:45 PM

Thats because in Japan, they check your tires against the fender. If the tire extends past the fender, the owner will not be able to register the car until it is fixed.
