Messed up downshift - how bad did i fuk up ?

Down shifted from 4 to 3rd and let the clutch out too fast (mid shift as it was cliping in to gear and it made two grinding sounds)

Now.. If the car is driving fine should i worry? Or would there may be chit fuked up that i cant see/feel?

Idk if it was like this before but now im noticing every gear is notchy (two pops in) but 3rd just kinda goes in (no notch. No pop just goes in)

hahahah the twins arent a Hyundai or a Kia. That wont break it. I did this like 50x's in one week until I learned the clutch. Dont worry unless you ride the clutch or dump it.

I also had issue with shifting from 2nd to 1st and not pressing clutch all the way down so it would kick 1st out or grind.

I had that problem but i stopped using first (untill recently) because it was the only gear i couldnt get smooth.

Is holding the clutch untill 4mph considered riding?

1st gear is for taking off from a dead stop anyways. If I'm rolling I never downshift into first. If you do use first make sure you rev match it a lil bit and I promise you it will slide right in.

Edit: OP don't worry about it, consider it As breaking it in some more

If you holding it from say 60mph until you come to a dead stop in neutral or in gear, yes it's riding. Down shift until 3rd then you can shift to neutral and use brake if real slow...say 20mph. You should avoid using clutch as much as possible for a long term goal of keeping oem clutch. Remember, the clutch is a wear item, so the less you use it, the longer the lifespan.

1st gear is hard to get smooth. You gotta ride clutch a tad when accelerating to perfect it. I dont care for up shifting on 1st to 2nd anymore. Just practice in a empty lot. Youll get it soon enough!

Don't worry about it, try not to do it very often though as it is not ideal.

You would probably have cried if you heard the several mishifts I did (1-2 shift is notchy to say the least and gate can be hard to get into). Flooring from a stop (supercharger makes 1st gear very short lol) fast shift to 2nd miss gate super loud grinding, crying inside, shift to 2nd and pretend it didn't happen but know it did all the while hoping no one saw that
