Anyone know what's up with nigel-jdmparts?
 

So I placed an order a last week and have not heard of any shipping information. I tried to check my order number on their website but it is down. Anyone know what's going on? The website has been down for the last two days as far as I know?

Crap.. I got charged for my order but have no idea if it will even come. I think I'm going to open a PayPal dispute within the next few days.

Why it's changed to this I don't know. But I wondered why it disappeared as well. It's the only place that offers the giant wing for the Nur Spec kit.

Regular site is back up for me today.

Hey, Nigel's site is working again for me, too, but I'd sent him a couple pms over he last week or so via this site to ask if he's got the SARD seat covers in stock. I did eventually get responses, but they're very cryptic and two were identical, sort of like an auto-response; just stated a price, but no response as to whether or not they were actually in stock. Does any one know? I'd really like to place an order, but I'd like to know that there's a real human there, and I'd like to know when the order will arrive. A message sent via the "contact us" form on his website went unanswered.

I would reply to his PM requesting a phone number to contact him directly at. That will alleviate your concerns.

I'd like to know if Nigel-JDMParts is legit as well. Subbed because I'm interested to see if it works out for you, OP.

I bought a lot of things from Nigel in the past with an excellent experience.
I would recommend Nigel if you are looking for OEM JDM stuff.

While I'm sure that Nigel is a legitimate vendor, I want to hold out to see OP's experience. There's been several cases of previously reputable vendors turning shady and getting banned.

Hopefully OP will have the same experience I had with the vendor.

Fortunately I did get a response with the shipping info after two weeks of the order. The link I received to the shipping info was useless since it did not work. It's kind of difficult to know where your order is, particularly if your excited about the order.

Nigel offers a lot of great items especially if your into original jdm parts. Just be patient and don't expect to receive your items for 3-4 weeks (at least from my experience).

Yup it takes time. I ordered a TRD shift knob three years ago from there as my first buy from his site. It took about a month to come in. It's part of that JDM life you know
