Pioneer avic-x9310bt Inquiry
Hey guys, I have no knowledge when it comes to audio haha
I'm wondering, i have the normal stock 2015 frs audio deck Would the Pioneer avic-x9310bt producebetter sound quality given everything else is kept the same? Or is this basically on par with my deck with just extra features? Link to it here http://www.pioneerelectronics.ca/POC...n/AVIC-X9310BT |
link wont work for me. it should give better sound quality because it should have better eq and processing built in. makes it easy in the event of adding amps as the stock radio does not have rca outs.

Is that unit still available? There's much newer and much better units available than that one, and I'd bet cheaper too.
IIRC, the AVIC-X series was built upon the prior F-series platform, and they had horrible noise issues. I'd avoid it at all costs, especially considering the NEX platform has been out for a while and is pretty darn good, IMO. I had a F-series that I tried every possible solution available to get rid of noise, and after finally getting fed up went with an Alpine. The next time around, despite my poor experience with Pioneer and better judgement, I decided to give the NEX series a try, and luckily its as quiet in terms of noise as the Alpine, and the processing capability of the NEX units is impressive. If the Pioneers had parametric EQ and a volume knob instead of buttons like my Alpine it would be near perfect. If you like, google Pioneer AVIC pico fuse noise and I'm pretty sure you'll end up steering clear of the X-series. |
Im so fed up with this Pioneer deck, start up time and bluetooth connecting time and bluetooth connect failture are terrible.
The only reason that I still using it, NAVI. |
