Openflash Manager - Norton Antivirus
Had a computer crash the other day and ended up having to do and entire rebuild of my system. When getting things up and running I installed Norton Antivirus since it is suppled by Centurylink for free. Not sure if I was running the same version or not prior to the crash but I definitely had Norton on my system.
When I re-downloaded Openflash Manager and installed it this morning Norton flashed a warning for a suspicious file. The name it came up with was sonar.heuristic.132 and it stopped installation saying it was a high risk file. I went ahead and allowed it to proceed. Then installed the windows 8.1 patch. Just curious if any others have gotten this notification from Norton, or whether I need to be concerned or not. |
I have had a lot of issues with Norton and Openflash Manager. For a long time Nortons would just delete it without even asking me if that was ok. I found a way to stop that happening but I can't remember how right now. It is a pain in the ass.
