SPC Lower Control Arms
Hey guys, I am looking to get some new lower control arms so that I can adjust the camber on my car. I was looking at the SPC ones and was wondering if anyone has them and what they think? Do they feel cheep or are they a quality product?

I dumped my cusco arms for the SPC's. Haven't had any issues with them.

They have been track proven by other members... I currently have them on my car with no issues, but have only attended 1 track event since the install. They are basically OEM control arms with a notch to adjust camber.

Thanks for the info guys!

There is a ton of info out there on these and they receive mixed opinions. A lot of guys run them on track cars and have no issues but others refuse to ever run their products because of general failures the company has had (not necessarily 86 specific). With that said, if you are considering tracking your car the cost difference between this set and a set no one questions the quality of (SPL) is pretty insignificant in the grand scheme of things when tracking a car.

What about for daily driving?

Edit: I have used SPC products for many years, on several different applications. Blessed to have zero failures with SPC products. |
You might look at the Whiteline for only $50 more.
Though the more I look at the new whiteline lower control arms, the more they look like painted SPC. I have seen other instances of Whiteline selling re-labeled SPC parts as their own, so it wouldn't surprise me if these were in the same boat. Which makes me think these will do just fine. Though the whiteline advertise 2.5 degree of movement compared to SPC of 2 degrees. Edit: Looks like the extra bit of adjustment is the bushing on the body side. Other than that, same product. |
Our experience with the SPC arms has been great so far. Our NA FRS uses these and we've seen about 5 track weekends with multtple drivers in the car without any issues.
They were also used on the car before it changed hands back when it was a daily driver and campaigning in STX for autocross. OEM quality with the adjustments you need :) |

I had SPC on my car for the last 12 months, over 10 track events without issues.
