Video of chirping at idle

So i know there is an issue with the idle considering everyone is talkint about it i know there are posts about it but decided to record it on my iPhone. You can hear the chirp n it's pretty loud this being a new car. I know cars make different sounds depending what type of car but I don't think this in particular is normal.

You should post your video on the other thread.

My car makes the same noise. I think it might be the metal clips on the timing belt since it's not rubber. Probably just needs to be broken in a little more

Sounds like a belt or squeaky pulley but hard to tell.

Is the car warmed up ?

I think a squeaky pully would more likely give a squealing sound, its a bit different sounding from this chirping noise.

my cars belt squeals in cold/wet weather and its irritating. ive had the belt replaced once which eliminated it for a short period but it came back. it only really squeals when the car isnt being loaded (so just idling)

It was the first thing that came to mind when i read about this chirping issue but i could not conclude it to be a squeaky pully or belt since the actual sounds were a little different.

I just got my BRZ yesterday but noticed the "chirping" noise today. It doesn't sound like anything is going to break but just a lil nerve rattling...

Yeah it's not like the car is bad just something that they have to fix.
