Condensation in Tom's Tails
My driver's side Tom's Tail Light has condensation in it. I think this happened about a month ago when I pulled out of a steep parking lot. My rear bumper hit pretty hard on the ramp while exiting and it appears to have cracked the casing on the tail light.
Back when I first purchased these (about 2 years ago) I was on the fence between Tom's and Buddy Club. So now I'm curious about my options. How hard is it to repair a cracked tail light? (Not a visible crack, so I think it's very minor on the bottom) Is it possible to just purchase a new replacement (1 light only, instead of purchasing the set)? Should I just try something different and give Buddy Club a shot? Any advice/opinions/suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks! |

1) Contact various vendors like Thomas from fteightsix.com , modbargain, ft86speedfactory etc. and ask them if you may buy a single tail light 2) Attempt a repair while waiting for their responses: http://3mauto.com/3m-high-strength-l...ear-03343.html but it probably won't be that great of a repair you'd need to replace that outer lens to have a decent repair anyway Also apparently the latest Tom's tail lights don't have condensation anymore..... |
