2JZ engine swap?
http://image.superstreetonline.com/f...rs-2jz-swap-02
What does everyone think of this awesome Supra engine swap? Seen some videos and guys are saying they get some pretty sick hp from these engines. Just wondering what kind of other work would be needed.. axles, diff, drive shaft etc. all of the above maybe?.. Thinking the stock undercarriage wouldn't put up with that kind of horsepower? Also, concerning the clutch and transmission obviously wouldn't bolt up to the 2JZ, wondering what kind of work would need to be done or if a new gearbox would also be needed. Lots of questions for anyone who could help me! |

Doesn't even have to search. There's a megathread stickied at the top of the first page, and six 2JZ/1JZ threads on the first page.

1) budget 20k for swap
2) find shop to fabricate stuffs 3) realize you're broke before you finish the swap 4) cry 5) sell to some poor idiot and buy a used cayman S |

you should try swapping a NA boxer 4 into the bay. would be way sicker, yo. don't think anyone has done that yet.

Or an AWD setup. Would be sicker! Theres a EK Hatch with an Evo drivetrain swap into it. Its nasty!

If you have a really deep pocket this 1,850HP fully built 2JZ package should be enough.
