Hose

What kind of hoses are you guys using? I've tried just about every pocket hose known to man. They work for a few months and then split and burst. I do like the light weight and maneuverability but they don't last. I also have a heavy black rubber Goodyear hose which is great but cumbersome. I also have a small power washer but prefer not to use that. Maybe there is no one perfect solution.

Yeah those pocket hoses are garbage. They are good for little frail old ladies who do gardening. I don't ever touch them when I'm at my customer's homes out of fear that I will split it.
I think after the third or fourth one I used and burst, I said no more even touching those things. If you look at them wrong, they split and burst open. The black goodyear hose I have has been good for about ten years now.

I just have cheap Home Depot green one that does the job. Only time I worry is in winter when water stays inside and ruptures it.

and to be honest, they are junk, only last a few weeks and explode...

OMFG don't even get me started on hoses.
I just bought a cheap hose awhile back and it was 100 ft and kinked like crazy. used it twice and sold it at a garage sale.

I bought a non kink one and have been using it and it works great. yard works one. I just got new sod so I've been having to water it.

I was just outside and the fucking hose was leaking at the tap. took the washer out and it looked ok but I have a feeling it's messed, so I'm gonna go buy some washers and hopefully it's that, otherwise I'm gonna have to buy a new hose.

just felt like venting since I was just outside trying to fix it.

fuck

You're not a terrible person, I borrow stuff from the Wal-of-Hell all the time. I think they encourage it.

My family and I have been using that exact same hose since the start of summer of this year, still running strong! lol

maybe its just me, i just dont have any luck with them
even the "heavy duty" ones they claim last longer and have better fittings on,

i just cant make them last, only a few months and they explode

Just picked this up. It's not expandable so it may fit my needs and not burst like the cheap pocket hoses. In case anyone is interested, I'll post my thoughts on it once I use it.
