Check it out

Looks nice, but no indication that it's meant to be a new model or anything.

Nice find. The rear end look badass.

The more new concept sports car from Toyota the better.

Midship Runabout 02-18-2011 04:16 PM

The rear end has some very nice lines

SUB-FT86 02-18-2011 04:42 PM

The front is an abomination. Everything else is sex!!!

:word:

that back end on the FT-86 would make it look amazing

IIRC, the article stated that this model was used for the purpose of teaching students about clay modelling techniques no? I don't think it was a specific concept model that they had any future production plans for.

I was actually at that tour with Speedhunters.

http://speedhunters.com/archive/2011...-are-born.aspx

I don't know if you guys care for this but we met with the designer of the tC. You can guys can guess what I was looking for when we had the tour there ;)

Here is a CALTY video. Next time hopefully it will be of the ft variety...

I don't know somehow it kind of reminds me of a genesis coupe rear end...but I could be just seeing things cuz I've been working 16 hour days.

Matador 02-18-2011 08:02 PM

^^ED2 designed the FT, so, unless they bring out the FT-HS, no such luck

^it does, doesn't it?

Dimman 02-18-2011 10:26 PM

Front makes me think of a Need for Speed game body kit on an FT86.

ichitaka05 02-18-2011 10:52 PM

Really liking the rear. Kinda remind me of Mercedes

70NYD 02-19-2011 01:16 AM

Shhiiiiiiiieeeet I love it. Even the out there front looks awesome and useful :D

Calais 02-19-2011 10:27 AM

yea loving that rear end would be amazing on the ft, it kinda reminds me of the M6 rear end

cyde01 02-20-2011 03:01 AM

i dunno, maybe it's that maroon color but the rear reminds me too much of a solara.

No way!!!!

A solara looks like a slab sided pregnant abomination. The lines on this car is more sharp, edgy, and sleek.

Am i really the only one that thinks the new tc looks like absolute garbage? The rear more than any other part. Honestly with that clay model the rear is absolute sex, but the sloping sides and window look amazing too. Just fix up the front end to look like the ft86ii minus the leds and we have a winner.

technically it'll be fourth ver. G's FT86 was shown at the TAS.

As for the Subie, I don't remember they stating they gonna release their ver same time w Toyota. my bet is Subie gonna wait 6months to yr after Toyota release it.
