Quietest 3" CBE?
 

Before someone suggests 2.5", I realize what I'm asking, why it's loud, and methods to quiet it down without downsizing.

Is there a single agreed upon exhaust (like Q300 for 2.5") for keeping the noise level down on a 3" system? All I can seem to find is that the suitcase mufflers like Perrin and JDL seem to be quieter.

I have the 3" PERRIN resonated with a catted 2.5" front pipe, and I would say that it's not loud at all. When it's warmed up at idle, it's barely louder than stock. When you get on it, you can hear it though.
