Low Boost 5psi daily driver

my friend like to supercharge his street car.
The car mode :
El 4-2-1 non- catted header
Non-catted front pipe
High flow Catback
E85 fuel stage 2

He think 5-6psi boost in non intercooled setup will make 270bhp.

Any idea?

Why would you not get an intercooler? Especially if he's near Tehran... it's kinda hot out there....

Also, what supercharger are you looking at? Jackson Racing, Kraftwerks, Sprintex 210/335, Edelbrock, Cosworth, HKS??

The cost is not important, we guess cosworth is not bad but we have no idea about other kits.

We prefer non intercooled If it is possible but we hear your ideas. Tehran in summer is hot around 100F . Lotus use non intercooled 11.7CR 5psi no problem in tehran.

The Sprintex 210 kit is low boost and not intercooled.

Does Jakson Racing or cosworth has no intercooled version?

They're both intercooled. Cosworth uses a water-to-air while JR uses air-to-air. I'd still go with the intercooler if I were you, and if cost isn't a factor. Less heat soak = better performance.

Have you even checked out any of the superchargers? Edelbrock just released their supercharger and seems to be very promising.

This is not a Lotus motor.

Specially since cost is not important, get an intercooler and an oil cooler.

I did not checked edlbrock but between blowers i guess jakson racing and cosworth be good.

I can understand the debate to why one might not purchase an oil cooler (assuming this is just a daily driver and not being tracked). I cannot understand the debate of why one wouldn't run an intercooler while purposely jamming hot air through your motor. especially when cost is not a factor like sportsguy said.

We use hks oil cooler kit.
Do you have any idea about power gain in E85 5psi boost if we use intercooled version?
