Best bang for $$$ Nav system?
It's been a few years since doing any car audio stuff and I'm way outta the loop. There is a sea of new audio/gps nav systems out these days and I simply don't know what to get.
My price range is like $300-400. I have a base '13 FRS and want a nav system. I want a unit that does not require internet for navigation like how free standing gps units work. So what's good bang for dollar in my price range while still keeping the factory USB and AUX ports functional as well? Admittedly, I don't understand much about how these new Nav systems work. My sw20 is still rocking a CD player that reads mp3's from 2006 lol. My last beater, I installed a newer deck with a usb port for music and that was the last of doing any car system stuff. It's been a while since I've looked into car audio/nav stuff so please go easy on me. Thanks. Forgot to add, but I would like for the unit to have a backup cam too. |
Best bang is Tomtom, no doubt.

TomTom is a stand a lone unit. Great stuff, in some ways I prefere these kind of units to in dash units. |
Nah. I already got a dashcam hanging off the windshield. I want an in dash unit so i can also run Torque.
