Anyone get an Etune for OFT?

Whats mods did you have and did you feel a difference over the Off the Shelf Tune?

Heard it takes awhile to get the tune done but you can expect around 5whp

I just got through doing this with the them. The turnaround actually wasn't that bad, usually took a day to get the tune back after sending the log. Took a couple weeks to get my e85 tune right.

Did you notice any improvement?

Not a HUGE improvement, but the car definitely feels more responsive.

There's not going to be much they can do remotely that you can't do yourself. The only difference is they might lean up OL a couple points.

They tuned 2 maps for you? Also what mods are you running?

Considering I don't even know what OL means it might be worth it haha! What's OL?

They tuned my 93 and E85 maps.

I have a Tomei UEL, full exhaust, Grimm intake.

Wayno's write up is very good. I was uncomfortable messing with the tune myself, I played around with the maf scaling, but wasn't about to make any major changes. He posted that write up shortly after I paid for the tuning. If it was available I would have used his walk though to modify the tune. Would've save me some $$

Wayno and Steve99 are awesome. Very active in the community.

For NA set-ups, custom e-tuning can certainly help. Especially if you have an unusual assortment of modifications that don't quite match up with our "stages". But the biggest benefit of custom tuning comes when you are running forced induction. The OTS turbo/sc maps are conservative for safety reasons. And it's not unusual to get an additional 10-20whp through e-tuning alone. For NA (E85 and pump), expect around 5whp with improvements through most of the torque curve (3k and up).

Cheers
