Corrupted Log wouldn't delete - OFT Tablet
I updated the template file and took a log this morning.
When I try to download the log onto my computer it gets stuck at ready. I waited around 10 minutes. OpenFlash Manger gets stuck. I can't click on delete selected because when I click on the corrupted log (to delete it), manager tries to open it and gets stuck. Is my only option to erase the oft to delete the corrupted log? :thanks: |
This recently happened to me as well with a large log file.
Had to return car to stock tune. Use ofm to erase device, the remarry to the car. I had run out of erase credits so I had to call openflash with my serial number so they could add the erase ability on their end. |
Oh yah. My log file was pretty huge as well. I'll probably do the same. Thanks :)

I've been lurking for a long time and finally created an account to share my solution to this problem. I ran into the same issue during a track session and none of the suggestions in this thread and the one @RustySocket started worked for me.
I ended up recording a very short log (about 5 seconds) and saving it with the same file name as the very large/corrupted file. I confirmed when the OFT asked if I wanted to overwrite the existing file, and later had no problem deleting the now much smaller log. |
