So downloaded open flash manager but it won't connect to tablet? Help please!!

Try another usb port and check that everything is plugged in before you start the program.

Have tried both use ports started and closed program but nothing. Screen lights up with pic on the tablet but program not connecting to it?

what operating system are you running?
win 8 and 10 need a C++ patch as I recall

Not sure what op system as work computer I'm using. But downloaded both normal and the win 8 patch that is on the open flash website. But came up with same problem?

Have you pared it to yout car?

Tried to but last owner unmarried from car but did not delete oem tune so have to get to manager to erase it.

So the erase button is greyed out?

The screen that come up when I selected tune on the device linked to car was ecu info, read which was greyed out and write?

When you hook it up it will find the device and connect automatically. Is it doing that? Otherwise it will just keep saying trying to connect

When I hook up device to computer just keeps saying connecting to device but never connects to actually use manager

No, you need to erase it on openflashmanager. Then you hook it to your car and follow the prompts to pair it. Then you hook it back up to OFM and it will put your base OTS tunes on it appropriate for your CALID.
