Because we all know a girl that gets swooned by the name of a $22-25k car is a winner. Celica isn't associated with a sexy coupe either, it's associated as a chick car from 2004. No girl would be impressed by saying you have a Celica. Go buy a BMW if you want to impress a gold-digger.

Unless this girl is a hardcore enthusiast (and that's highly unlikely) then she really won't know or care what you drive. I've had girls compliment me on 17 year old Xtra Cab 2WD Pickup and my Avalon, a freaking old person's car.

that's what I think...they'll have a track model or something and call that the "86" model....don't know if the Scion version will get it though...
