brakes
Hello all im about to hit 60k on the brz and of course the service states to inspect the brakes so they do look a little worn not much life yet but i was curious im about to change the rotors and pads for the front but is the brake distribution even or more towards the front? i might as well change the rears at 60k also no?

If they're in good shape, no need to change unless you are after a change in behavior for tracking, or something. Fronts wear much faster than rear, but an inspection tells all.
If it's time and you upgrade the front pads, do so in the back too (pads...) The car typically works best with matching compound front and rear. |
Usually rotors outlive pads. And usually rear pads outlive front ones. If replacement pads are of same compound and there is lot of thickness left in rears (of course, inspection needed), you can aswell change just fronts. If you change pads to those of different compound then i'd change rears aswell though, to keep brake front-rear bias.

Gotcha thanks guys what I ended up doing is getting the stoptech front rotors and got new pads front and rear only thing I'm keeping is the stock rear rotors. I'm also changing the front t lines to SS and changing out fluid to motul rbf and also doing the brake master cylinder stopper.
