Let me know where I "bash" PTuning? I never once said anything about their kit. I asked a simple question to the OP as to why he was considering PTuning over everything else. That's all. Freddy came in and posted numbers. I simply replied, that's all. So please, tell me where I said anything about their kit? Their design is definitely interesting and I can see the direction they're going in with trying to mitigate heat soak and imbalance. So again, find any instance that I bashed on their kit.

What correction factor is that? 1.00 or 1.12?

I took this as bashing, but i like how you didnt defend the douche bag comment.
My apologies for reading into your comment. I have met you before, and how you speak to people in the real world was read through your thread post.

If you took that as a bashing then that's your own prerogative. I can't control your sensitivity levels. I didn't defend the douche bag comment because that's your opinion and you're entitled to it. And frankly I don't care what you think of me, no offense.

I took Freddy's post as humorous, so that's how I replied.

As far as how I speak to people in the real world? I treat everyone with the equal respect they show me. If I come off as stand off-ish it's not because I'm stuck up or think I'm better than others. It's just how I am. Ask anyone in the car community here in DFW. I go above and beyond for anyone.

Lol this escalated quickly.

Yes I kind of meant my post to be funny but it was also to show how proud we are of the torque curve, not for peak hp numbers. OP was asking about our kit vs a supercharger, I guess I should've said more than just try and be funny, apologies.

If there was no competition between us, we'd be stuck with sub-par products :)

Our conversation isnt helping the op. So ill just apologize in hopes to get this thread back on track.
Op, my offer still stands on a ride a long. I can switch back to 93 to give you a realistic look at the power gains the kit can have.

We shouldn't be fighting each other, guys. There's bigger things to worry about. Like boost lag... and shitty roads... crickets :bonk:. But seriously, I appreciate everyone's input.

Thanks @Martyr03, I definitely wouldn't mind that at all. If I'm free one of these weekends, maybe we could set something up. Maybe talk about the pros and cons of the kit over some beer and wings.

@Freddy@PTUNING that post was funny to me, but it was also very depressing as I realize how easily you're able to weaken my resolve to do more research. Keep doing posts like that, and you'll have my payment info by tomorrow. Ya killin' me, Freddy.

I spoke to a bunch of Houston 86 guys for you and unfortunately none of them think any of them have the PTuning kit. Maybe Freddy can chime in and see if he's shipped any kits out there. Good luck!

I'm not too picky on which kit it is. Of course, ideally it'd be PTuning, but I just want the general difference on feel between a supercharger with their direct throttle to torque relation vs. a turbo's OOMPH if you know what i mean. In a perfect world, I'd be able to ride in the two applications that look best to me on paper, but I'm not gonna complain. Anyhow, thanks for pulling those strings.

Yeah, that sounds good. Just let me know how to get in contact with them, or I could even PM you.

We have a customer name Brian in Plano, TX that runs the PTUNING kit. I believe that's about 1hr away from Houston. He may entertain giving you a ride-along. He's #bjun on this forum.

MrC

Below is a comparison of the PTUNING setup with the GTX2867R vs two popular SC kits that we've tuned. All on 93 octane.
